ZF Aftermarket launches Vandy smart fleet management platform

ZF Aftermarket has introduced Vandy, a new fleet management platform designed to streamline vehicle maintenance, enhance efficiency, and lower operating costs for businesses. Developed by ZF Group, Vandy offers an integrated solution for managing and monitoring vehicle fleets.

Vandy addresses the increasing challenges of fleet management by providing an all-in-one platform that combines real-time data, automated scheduling, and comprehensive maintenance tracking. This aims to help fleet managers ensure vehicle safety, minimise downtime, control costs, and maintain regulatory compliance.

The platform automates preventive maintenance scheduling based on manufacturer guidelines, sending timely reminders to help prevent unexpected breakdowns and reduce repair expenses. It also simplifies issue management, enabling quick identification and resolution of problems to minimise vehicle downtime.

A key feature of Vandy is its real-time tracking, providing live data on vehicle location and mileage to support informed operational decisions. The platform also includes a secure digital glovebox for storing and accessing important vehicle documents, with automated alerts for expiring documents to aid compliance.

Inspection management is facilitated through customisable digital checklists that drivers can complete on mobile devices, with any identified issues logged directly for prompt resolution. Vandy also records trip details, including mileage, routes, and driver information, offering a clear overview of vehicle usage.

Vandy is designed for seamless integration with existing vehicle telematics systems. For vehicles without built-in connectivity, ZF Aftermarket offers a plug-and-play hardware option for tracking location, mileage, and fuel consumption without complex installations.

The platform generates detailed reports on fleet performance, fuel efficiency, and maintenance costs, providing businesses with the data needed to optimise operations and reduce expenses.

David Wakeling at ZF Group commented, “Vandy gives businesses the tools they need to take control of their fleet’s performance and operating costs. By combining automation with real-time insights, we’ve created a solution that helps businesses maximise uptime, reduce costs and improve driver safety. Vandy makes fleet management easier, more efficient and more transparent.”

Vandy is designed for van and car fleets of between 10 and 100 vehicles. Businesses can request a demonstration by clicking here.
