Schaeffler films latest Wrenches & Wisdom episode at Williams Garage

For its final episode of the year, the Schaeffler team recently visited the award-winning Williams Garage in Winchester, to speak to some apprentices and deliver product training. The visit took place as part of Schaeffler’s Wrenches & Wisdom campaign, which puts the spotlight on apprenticeships, career possibilities and training opportunities in the aftermarket.

This latest episode follows 20 students as they took part in Schaeffler’s double clutch training, which included a live demonstration of a double clutch replacement using a LuK 2CT repair solution, plus an INA belt installation.

Williams Garage owner, Peter Whieldon, said: “This was a day filled with valuable information, engaging demonstrations, and enjoyable experiences. Encouraging young individuals to join our sector is crucial, and I was delighted to host the event to support and engage with the next generation of talent.”

The Wrenches & Wisdom campaign has had a very successful year, delivering invaluable product training to over 300 students and apprentices at forward thinking workshops and colleges around the country. The team also spent time at each event talking to garage owners, professional technicians and apprentices about the need to continually develop and maintain workshop skills with a continuous training plan, and to also discuss the currently underused resource of apprenticeships in the independent aftermarket.

The episode featuring Williams Garage will go live in November, and will be available to view on Schaeffler’s REPXPERT UK social media channels.
