GSF takes to the skies with concept drone delivery service

GSF Car Parts, the UK’s fastest-growing motor factor, has unveiled a conceptual drove delivery service that it says could become a reality in the future.

The company is constantly exploring ideas that would enhance the way it serves customers. This latest concept demonstrates how the very latest in drone and AI technology can come together to inspire progress.

While not a reality yet, it shows how GSF intends to be the aftermarket leader in the space. Documented in a new video, the drone can be seen carrying car parts over busy roads from a GSF branch to a customer.

The drone service could be rolled out to serve customers in a number of ways, from reaching remote areas to rapid deliveries and returns.

Steve Horne, CEO at GSF Car Parts, said: “We’ve all seen the potential to diversify how we get parts, consumables and tools to customers. I imagine a future where we can select the best delivery method for garage and ecommerce customers depending on location and their specific needs.

“As the fastest-growing motor factor with no plans to slow that rate of expansion, GSF will look to use new ways to work smarter while offering the best service to customers. We already use vans, mopeds and e-bikes, and drones would unlock another incredible opportunity. Growth, innovation and progress will always be made with the aim of improving our customers’ experience.”
