ZF launches diagnostics tool to address needs of modern workshops

ZF Aftermarket has officially introduced ZF [pro]Diagnostics, a new diagnostic tool designed to meet the evolving needs of modern workshops. Available now on the ZF Aftermarket website, this comprehensive solution integrates ZF MultiScan and ZF Scan, enabling technicians to diagnose and repair over 35,000 different systems across various vehicle brands, including passenger cars, trucks, trailers, and buses.

ZF [pro]Diagnostics is a versatile platform featuring Secure Gateway access to protected vehicle systems and remote diagnostics for complex cases. It offers flexible subscription options to suit different workshop requirements. The tool ensures compatibility with major diagnostic protocols such as Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (DoIP) and CAN FD, facilitating fast and secure data transfer.

ZF MultiScan provides multi-brand diagnostics, supporting a wide range of vehicle models and incorporating all known diagnostic protocols for efficient troubleshooting. Its PassThru functionality enhances in-house service by unlocking OE Secure Gateways. ZF Scan centralises ZF Group-specific component diagnostics, merging legacy applications like WABCO SD1.0, ZF Testman, and Toolbox+ into one suite. It includes a quick Vehicle Health Scan to efficiently capture ECU and DTC data, helping workshops comply with new secure vehicle access regulations.

Stuart Mcleod, ZF Aftermarket Technical Support & Training Lead, stated that ZF [pro]Diagnostics offers workshops manufacturer-level precision and a blend of extensive functionality and ease of use, enabling confident and efficient customer service.
