ZF Aftermarket recently hosted its second exclusive ZF [pro]Tech Plus training session at its Solihull facility. This two-day, hands-on event focused on enhancing the practical skills and knowledge of its members concerning modern transmission systems.
The course covered ZF’s 8HP transmission range, including hybrid applications, as well as DCT and DSG technology, and the operation of Sachs dual clutch systems. Delegates received practical insights from the ZF UK technical team, including real-world examples and diagnostic guidance. Participants also toured ZF’s on-site R&D centre and engaged in a live Q&A session with technical experts.
Feedback from attendees was positive. Stuart McLeod, Technical Support and Training Lead at ZF Aftermarket, stated that the sessions aim to equip garages with the knowledge needed to handle complex transmissions and hybrid systems, fostering a sense of community among professionals. Steve Carter from Carter Automotive described the training as “first class, informative, practical and very relevant.”
The first day concluded with a networking event at Birmingham’s F1 Arcade, allowing delegates to connect with other aftermarket professionals.
The [pro]Tech Plus programme continues to gain popularity due to its expert-led training, exclusive content, and networking opportunities.
