GS Yuasa supports Árón Taylor-Smith for BTCC 2025

Yuasa, a prominent European battery brand, is partnering with Irish racing driver Árón Taylor-Smith for the 2025 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season.

Following a successful 2024 season where Taylor-Smith won the Independents’ Championship with 20 class victories and two outright podium finishes, he will now compete with the factory-backed Toyota Gazoo Racing UK team. He will drive the Toyota Corolla GR Sport, with Yuasa as a key sponsor.

Yuasa’s sponsorship highlights the brand’s commitment to high-performance motorsport and its growing presence in the UK and Irish automotive markets. The Yuasa logo will be prominently featured on Taylor-Smith’s racing suit.

With all BTCC races broadcast live on ITV4 and reaching over 20 million viewers in 2024, Yuasa’s involvement in the championship will ensure significant brand exposure. The 2025 BTCC season commenced on April 27th at Donington Park. Updates and behind-the-scenes content will be shared on social media by Yuasa and Árón Taylor-Smith.
