Tesla dealership in Belfast targeted as US protests continue

Approximately 20 Tesla vehicles were damaged at a dealership on Boucher Road, Belfast. The damage, reported to police on Sunday, included broken wing mirrors, smashed windows, and bodywork dents.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) stated that the damage occurred within the preceding 24 hours and investigations are ongoing. They have appealed for witnesses.

Meanwhile, protests occurred at Tesla dealerships across the US, including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York. These protests, involving hundreds of people, are part of an ongoing backlash against Elon Musk and the Trump administration.

In Brooklyn, New York, approximately 50 people gathered outside a Tesla showroom, marking the fourth such protest in four weeks. These demonstrations follow a decline in Elon Musk’s net worth and a decrease in Tesla sales in Europe.
