The Towing Hitch Weight Checker (part number 9248) is an essential safety device for checking that the hitching (nose) weight is within the towing vehicle’s safe limit.
Incorrect nose weight can compromise safety. Too much weight can overload the rear suspension and negatively impact steering and braking, while too little can lead to instability, causing the trailer to sway or a loss of control. The 9248 features a clearly marked scale from 50kg to 100kg with indicators at 50kg, 75kg, and 100kg, allowing users to quickly verify that their load is properly balanced before each journey.
