The UK’s independent garage sector is gearing up for one of its biggest annual celebrations as the Servicesure Awards return this evening, bringing together leading workshops, suppliers, and industry partners for a day of recognition and inspiration. Hosted at the striking Concorde Conference Centre near Manchester, the event blends a daytime conference and trade show with an evening gala that culminates in the announcement of this year’s award winners.
Under the wings of the iconic Concorde aircraft, attendees will gather for a black‑tie dinner and a ceremony hosted by comedian Russell Kane, who will front the awards with energy and humour. The event has become a highlight of the automotive aftermarket calendar, shining a spotlight on the achievements of garages across the Servicesure network.
This year’s ceremony features eleven award categories, reflecting both the diversity and the evolving priorities of the sector. Alongside long‑standing honours such as Best Overall Garage and the six regional awards, organisers have introduced a new category: Fleet Garage of the Year, recognising the growing importance of fleet servicing within the independent network. Other categories include Customer Service, EV Garage of the Year, and Supplier of the Year, each designed to celebrate excellence in a specific area of expertise.
Previous winner of the Best Newcomer Award, Zack Bakanavicius of Andover Cars Ltd, said: “Winning in 2024 was a huge boost – recognition for the hard work we’ve put into building our garage. Being part of Servicesure connects us to a nationwide network of independents striving for excellence. I’d encourage every member to enter this year and look forward to seeing everyone at the event.”
As the industry continues to adapt to new technologies, changing customer expectations, and the rise of electric vehicles, tomorrow’s event promises not only to celebrate the best of today but also to look ahead at what’s next for independent garages across the UK.
