Schaeffler highlights workshop apprenticeships in latest Wrenches & Wisdom video

Schaeffler has released the latest episode of its Wrenches & Wisdom campaign, which focuses on apprenticeships and career opportunities within the automotive aftermarket. This edition features Dean Lomas, an award-winning workshop owner from Cheshire.

As a former Apprentice of the Year, Lomas shares his career journey and how he overcame challenges to achieve success. He also discusses the ways in which the industry can better support young people as they progress in their careers. Additionally, Lomas emphasises the importance of using genuine, original equipment quality components to safeguard a workshop’s reputation.

The Wrenches & Wisdom campaign will continue throughout 2025, with the REPXPERT team planning further video releases featuring various workshop owners and technicians. Another video is scheduled for release later in May, showcasing a workshop that has taken on two apprentices, inspired by Schaeffler’s Wrenches & Wisdom campaign.
