Schaeffler visited Williams Garage in Winchester for the final 2025 instalment of its “Wrenches & Wisdom” campaign. The initiative aims to highlight career paths, training opportunities, and apprenticeships within the automotive aftermarket.
The session involved 20 students who participated in technical training. This included a live demonstration of a double clutch replacement using a LuK 2CT repair solution and an INA belt installation.
Williams Garage owner, Peter Whieldon, said:
“This was a day filled with valuable information, engaging demonstrations and enjoyable experiences. Encouraging young individuals to join our sector is crucial and I was delighted to host the event to support and engage with the next generation of talent.”
Over the course of 2025, the campaign provided product training to more than 300 students and apprentices across various workshops and colleges. The programme also facilitates discussions with garage owners and technicians regarding the development of workshop skills and the role of apprenticeships in the independent aftermarket.
