OSRAM has expanded its product offering to include a new range of dash cameras and reversing cameras. These new products aim to improve driver visibility and overall road safety.
The new dash camera range includes three models, varying in features and price. All models offer high-quality resolution footage, use USB-C charging for simple plug-and-play installation, and automatically save files in the event of a collision.
- The ROADsight 1500 is an entry-level dash camera with a 2-inch screen, adjustable suction cup mount, 110° field of view, and a G sensor, supporting Micro SD cards up to 32GB.
- The ROADsight 2500 features a 2-inch screen with adhesive fitting, a 140° field of view, a G sensor, and a parking mode. It is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicles and supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB.
- The ROADsight 3500 has a 3-inch IPS screen, built-in GPS for vehicle location and speed recording, parking mode, adhesive fitting, and a 140° field of view. It supports SD cards up to 128GB and offers Full HD 1296p resolution at 30fps. OSRAM also offers the ROADsight 3500R, a package including the 3500 dash camera and an additional rear dash camera.
For reversing cameras, OSRAM has launched the ROADsight REVERSE range, available in wired and wireless options. These cameras can be fitted to 12V and 24V vehicles, including cars, LCVs, caravans, motorhomes, and horseboxes. Both models are IP67 rated for dust and waterproofing.
- The ROADsight REVERSE (WIRELESS) – OWRCS7 features a 7-inch compact AHD monitor with a four-way split-screen option for additional cameras. It includes a wireless 1080p camera, night vision, and on-screen parking guidelines, along with an adjustable sunshade.
- The ROADsight REVERSE (WIRED) – OCS700N is a two-channel model, allowing for an optional second camera (sold separately), suitable for towing. It has a 7-inch AHD monitor with 1080p screen resolution from the rear camera and on-screen parking guidelines.
