Man charged with theft of £26,500 car parts

Joe Rudge, 26, of Little Vigo, Yateley, has been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle. The charges relate to the theft of car parts, including wheels, tyres, and camper van fittings, valued at £26,500.

The items were stolen from two vehicles at Hartley Wintney Garage on London Road on 21 June of the previous year.

Hampshire Constabulary conducted an investigation into the reported theft, leading to Rudge’s arrest and subsequent charges.

Rudge has been released on bail with conditions and is scheduled to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 22 April.
