Lucas to celebrate 150 years of innovation at TechFest

Lucas, the world’s longest continually operating automotive brand, will take centre stage at TechFest this year to celebrate 150 years of engineering excellence.

A name recognised across the aftermarket, Lucas has spent the last century and a half supplying the trade with market-leading expertise and quality service. Its signature green and white boxes all tell a story and are synonymous with its proven pedigree.

Partnering with BORG Automotive – the name behind Elstock, DRI and TMI – Lucas offers an extensive range of fuel pumps, rotating electrics and turbochargers. Every product is designed to meet or exceed OE specifications and is supported by a market-leading warranty.

Earlier this year, GSF Car Parts signed an agreement making it the number one motor factor for Lucas products in the UK.

“We take great pride in delivering the Lucas brand direct to the trade,” said Alistair Preston, CCO of GSF. “It’s a name garages know and trust, and we’re proud to keep those iconic boxes moving through workshops nationwide.”

At TechFest, Lucas will join GSF and more than 70 other suppliers for a full day of live demos, product engagement and trade networking. Visitors will get the chance to explore the Lucas range up close and speak directly with the technical experts behind it.

To mark the 150-year celebration, Lucas will also run two LEGO car giveaways as part of TechFest’s growing lineup of competitions and activities.

TechFest North takes place on Wednesday 21st May at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, followed by further events on 19th June and 18th September. With Lucas as a headline supplier, TechFest promises to be a must-attend event for anyone in the trade.
