Suffolk mechanic receives award for outstanding apprenticeship

Joe George, a 22-year-old car mechanic working for the Rawlinson Group in Bury St Edmunds, has been awarded “Motor Vehicle Apprentice of the Year” by Suffolk New College.

Mr. George, who previously studied A-levels, chose an apprenticeship path, recognising the value of gaining practical skills and earning while learning. He expressed his appreciation for the support he received from his employer and his college tutor.

Joe is keen to further develop his skills and explore different areas within the motor trade, potentially including motorsport.

This award recognises Mr. George’s hard work and dedication to his apprenticeship and serves as an inspiration to other young people considering this career path.
