GS Yuasa has launched the new Yu-Fit+, a battery configuration tool for contemporary vehicles equipped with emissions reduction technology, such as stop-start or regenerative braking. This next-generation device facilitates battery replacements and aims to prevent system faults or warning lights.
The Yu-Fit+ offers battery validation in approximately 60 seconds and provides secure vehicle access (VSA & SFD) for configuring newer models with locked ECUs, including those from VW Group. Its six-button interface is designed for straightforward use in workshops or mobile settings.
Powered directly via the OBD port, the Yu-Fit+ requires no external batteries. It features expanded memory, supporting a wide range of vehicles with advanced diagnostic systems. Built for durability in professional use, it receives regular software updates via GS Yuasa’s PC Suite to ensure compatibility with the latest vehicle models and security protocols.
