The widget allows users to identify the correct battery for a vehicle without leaving the host website. It provides three primary search methods:
- Search by vehicle registration (VRN)
- Search by VIN (chassis number)
- Search by make and model
Powered by GS Yuasa’s European application database, the system is updated daily to ensure accuracy. The manufacturer stated:

The widget is installed via a code snippet and features an adjustable size to suit different website layouts. For businesses with e-commerce capabilities, results can be linked directly to specific product pages to streamline the purchasing process.
