Easy2Recruit calls for more overseas talent to support UK aftermarket

To explain how its range of recruitment programmes is helping businesses across the

UK.

Easy2Recruit is helping garages hire overseas talent, plugging the gap in recruitment

with programmes designed to boost staffing.

“More and more garages have discovered the solution to the skills gap,” said Ambi

Singh, CEO of Easy2Recruit. “We are helping garages to recruit technicians from the

United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. We do all the relocation from overseas to the

door of the UK garage. We have an increasing number of success stories we are able to

share.”

Alongside the core offering, Easy2Recruit offers Student2Skill, pairing international

students studying in the UK with garages looking for part-time workers, focused around

roles such as tyre fitting. “Many already have work experience and advanced academic

qualifications,” said Ambi, “but are eager to learn trades too and can offer a wealth of

skills and capability to the UK workforce.”

This is backed up by the Student2Skill international graduate placement programme.

“International graduates with the right skills are paired with garages, where they work

full-time for at least six months,” said Ambi. The programme focuses on those holding a

Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) qualification.

Meanwhile, Easy2Recruit is also the authorised recruitment supplier for the

Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).
