Arnott expands European suspension range with new OE-spec components

Arnott has introduced a range of new suspension components designed to meet original equipment (OE) performance standards. The expansion covers air springs, compressors, valve blocks, and advanced damping technologies for European and global vehicle platforms.

Advanced Damping Solutions

The release includes several electronic eRide shocks (SKE-3830, SKE-4371, SKE-5713) for Land Rover models, including the Discovery V and Defender L663. These units adjust damping force via electronically controlled valves that respond to vehicle sensor inputs. Additionally, new Magnetic Ride shocks (MR-5472, MR-5743) have been introduced for the Audi A3 (8V). This technology uses magnetorheological fluid to change viscosity in response to electric currents, allowing for real-time damping adjustments.

Air Suspension Infrastructure

New air suspension compressors (P-3886, P-5167, P-5215) now cover the Bentley Continental GT, BMW i4, and various Land Rover models. These units regulate the pressurised air required for air springs, such as the new rear air spring (A-5350) for the Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS-Class. Arnott’s compressors are engineered to:

“deliver consistent air pressure and reliable system operation… to support precise ride height control and dependable air suspension performance.”

Conventional and Coil Components

The expansion also features ready-to-install coil struts for Ford and GM applications and a rear shock (SK-4087) for the BMW X3/X4. These components aim to restore factory handling characteristics by converting kinetic energy into heat through hydraulic damping.
